ad assere sincero, devo ammettere che qualche dubbio sulla validità dell'esperimento ce l'ho anch'io... detto questo, spero che l'adozione dei social media da parte dei ministri si diffonda sempre di più, per creare un rapporto dialogico tra cittadini ed istituzioni.

sfortunatamente però i il dibatito sul canale di "Mariastella" sembra si sia già esaurito (commenti a parte)...

farà la stessa fine di mastella, esponendosi su internet riceveranno solo insulti. Alla fine è quello che si meritano. Non si "viene incontro alla gente" attraverso il video uplodato su YouTube. E' solo un modo ridicolo di fare i moderni (moderni si fa per dire).

dicaimo che il Pay Per Post è decisamente l'ultima delle strade a disposizione di un blogger per promuovere se stesso. magari si riesce a guadagnare qualcosina, ma i rischi che comporta sono decisamente eccessivi (vedi il caso john chow http://www.napolux.com/2008....

la questione del PPP può essere interessante, in terimini economici, se si parla di Blog con un gran numero di utenti. Resta il fatto che si stanno cercando/inventando sempre più nuovi metodi per portare prima di tutto afflussi al proprio blog. Uno di questi e' premiare un commentatore che ha commentato in un determinato giorno (scelto per il concorso). Il tutto porterebbe "in teoria" nuovi lettori o comunque accessi. Ho messo tra virgolette teoria perche' la fidelizzazzione del lettore dipendera' 1 dal premio 2 dalla qualità dei contenuti, altrimenti parleremmo solo di N persone che commentano quel giorno e basta.

Likely we got spidered by the "Muslim Agianst Sharia" group, which is aimed to pursuit the following goals:

- to educate Muslims about dangers presented by Islamic religious texts and why Islam must be reformed
- to educate non-Muslims about the differences between moderate Muslims and Islamists (a.k.a. Islamic Religious Fanatics, Radical Muslims, Muslim Fundamentalists, Islamic Extremists or Islamofascists)
- to educate both Muslims and non-Muslims alike that Moderate Muslims are also targets of Islamic Terror

Clearly they have some serious concerns with regards to the "SMEAR: Barack Obama is a Muslim", due the fact that, in their opinion, it shouldn't be considered as a "smear", and that negative connotation should not been given to the word "Muslim".

Anyway, as far as I can read on the Obama campaign website, there are not offensive statements related to the "Muslim status". They are just pointing out that saying "Obama is a Muslim" is simply not the truth. Futhermore, if we consider the definition of "smear" we can find on the merriam-webster.com dictionary:

smear: a usually unsubstantiated charge or accusation against a person or organization —often used attributively

this word has not spiteful connotation.

Certainly this reaction from the Muslim Against Sharia group is a serious watchout which should be considered very carefullly by the Democratic candidate. Campaign managers should weigh the words when they handle such tricky issues.

Would Mr. Obama have the same reaction if someone claimed that he was raised as a Jew? We sincerely doubt that.

Muslims Against Sharia demand immediate removal of "SMEAR: Barack Obama is a Muslim" statement from the official Barack Obama's website as well as an apology for giving the word "Muslim" a negative connotation.

Grazie mille per la risposta, che ci ha tolto definitivamente qualsiasi dubbio sul fatto che Barack Obama abbia il sacrosanto diritto di candidarsi alla Presidenza degli Stati Uniti.

Peccato però che non era questo il punto e io non avevo alcun dubbio a riguardo. Difatti, pur non conoscendo nei particolari la questione, così come ce l'hai gentilmente illustrata tu, sapevo che certe voci erano false e facevano parte di una tattica profondamente scorretta di discredito dell'avversario.

Ecco un'altra chicca.

Lo sapevi che durante le primarie repubblicane nel 2000, il senatore John McCain era stato preso di mira da una così detta "whisper campaign" che lo accusava d'essere padre di una bambina illegittima, per di più di colore? In realtà McCain aveva adottato la bambina che veniva dal Bangladesh, eppure agli elettori del South Carolina era stato chiesto ripetutamente:

"Would you be more likely or less likely to vote for John McCain if you knew that he fathered an illegitimate black child?".

La settimana precedente le votazioni, su tutte le radio locali dello South Carolina veniva continuamente riproposta la stessa domanda.

McCain perse le primarie in South Carolina e, così, la nomination, che fu invece conquistata dal celeberrimo George W. Bush.

questo il suo commento sulla vicenda:

"There were some pretty vile and hurtful things said during the South Carolina primary. It's a really nasty side of politics. We tried to ignore it and I think we shielded [our daughter] from it. It's just unfortunate that that sort of thing still exists. As you know she's Bengali, and very dark skinned. A lot of phone calls were made by people who said we should be very ashamed about her, about the color of her skin. Thousands and thousands of calls from people to voters saying, 'You know, the McCains have a black baby.' I believe that there is a special place in hell for people like those."

Adesso io non sto a questionare se McCain fosse o meno un candidato migliore per la presidenza rispetto a Bush, ma quello che mi interessa è sottolineare il fatto che certe tattiche scorrette ci saranno sempre, e Fight The Smears di Barack Obama mi sembra un eccellente esercizio di ORM per cercare di limitare i danni.

Tanto per essere più chiari, nessuno riuscirà mai ad evitare che si dicano brutte cose, soprattutto non veritiere, sul tuo conto. Non puoi neanche lontanamente sperare che in un contesto comunicativo così dispersivo e incontrollabile come quello attuale, le persone abbiano tutte lo stesso grado di "attenzione" nei confronti del dibattito politico in corso. E' probabile che la stragrande maggioranza degli elettori non venga mai a conoscenza della verità e molti non sono neppure "intenzionati" a scoprirla perché di parte, non so se mi spiego...

Se queste sono le premesse, credo che il microsite in difesa di Obama possa svolgere un eccellente funzione in difesa del candidato democratico, anche solo assicurandosi di indicizzare meglio "la verità" sui motori di ricerca.

Detto questo, ti ringrazio comunque molto per il tuo commento che ho trovato comunque molto interessante.

un'altra riflessione, credo, interessante, potrebbe essere quella relativa al grado di "devianza" proprio della nostra Democrazia, che non ci permette di scandalizzarci per verità ben più gravi che riguardano i nostri "rappresentati" in parlamento. Ma questa è un'altra storia...

Cmq nel caso del mio Megapod...io ero solo il protagonista...il montaggio ed il modo di mostrare la storia e' tutto di James che posso affermare senza nessun problema sia stato l'ago della bilancia che ha reso il POD spettacolare ed unico...

Quindi la piacevolezza nel vederlo nasce tutta dalla bravura di James....

" Non sarà eleggibile alla carica di Presidente chi non sia cittadino degli Stati Uniti per nascita o cittadino nel momento in cui questa Costituzione sarà adottata, né potrà essere eleggibile a tale carica chi non abbia raggiunto l'età di trentacinque anni e non sia residente negli Stati Uniti da quattordici anni."

Barack Hussein Obama Jr. nasce a Honolulu (Hawaii, USA) il 4 agosto 1961.

P.s.: Nel caso si volesse sostenere, come è stato più volte fatto, che lo stato delle Hawaii fa parte della Federazione solo dal 1959 e perciò non sarebbe possibile comprenderlo nel computo dell'art. 2 della Cost., si può semplicemente obiettare con due considerazioni.
In primo luogo a firmare la Costituzione furono soltanto tredici stati, le c.d. 13 colonie (). Perciò seguendo questo ragionamento qualsiasi Presidente nato al di fuori delle 13 colonie sarebbe illeggittimo (come ad esempio).
In secondo luogo, ad avvalorare la critica che qui si cerca di sostenere, Barack Obama è nato nel 1961, ben due anni dopo l'annessione delle Hawaii alla Federazione. Quindi, anche volendo accettare la tesi di cui sopra, nella fattispescie riguardante il neocandidato democraticatico ciò non sarebbe possibile.
